  • This tea is great for you if you are having a consistent episode of acid reflux after eating a meal or you have esophagitis which is usually caused by the acid burning the pathways of your esophagus due to repeatedly flowing back from the stomach.
  • It’s also good for soothing and helping in the healing of those burning uncomfortable spots that it’s felt as a result of an acid reflux episode or GERD.

Things to avoid are spicy foods such as raw garlic and onions or just avoid spices all together. As these are too strong for someone who suffers from acid reflux.

  • Avoid sleeping upside down! And sleep with two pillows in order for your esophagus to be a bit higher and therefore minimizing acid reflux episodes while sleeping.

In my article called benefits of apple cider vinegar, I have an apple cider vinegar drink recipe that is very good for alleviating acid reflux. The apple cider vinegar must be drank with water as it will be strong if it’s drank by itself. However, when drank with water it does wonders to for someone with this condition. It can also heal the burning wounds caused by GERD.

I hope all my tips, information, and of course, my tea recipe help you on your healing journey from acid reflux. Ginger and turmeric are the best ingredients in a tea to alleviate acid reflux.
