How to make a Soursop Tea with the Tree Leaves

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup 1 soursop tree leaves (washed and slightly crushed)

  • 2 cups 2 water (filtered or distilled)

  • 1 slice 1 lemon

  • 1 Tbsp 1 agave nectar or any honey of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat water with the leaves and the slice of lemon either in a stovetop pot or in a kettle to a boil.
  • Once the water is boiling, turn the heat off and let it stand for 3-4 minutes.
  • Strain the tea from the pot to a cup using a tea or coffee strainer.
  • Add honey and stir.
