INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup 1 peppermint leaves

  • 2 cups 2 water (filtered or distilled)

  • 1 Tbsp 1 agave nectar or any honey of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add the peppermint leaves and water in a pot and bring it to a boil.
  • Once the water is boiling, turn the heat off.
  • Let it stand for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Strain the tea from the pot to a cup using a tea or coffee strainer.
  • Add honey and stir.

  • You can buy the peppermint leaves at your local farmers market or in the produce or fresh vegetable section of your local grocery store.
