Oat Milk Benefits

Oat Milk Recipe

Oat milk is a plant based milk that is good for the heart and lowers cholesterol levels. It has vitamins D, B12 and calcium.  It also tastes amazing! You can drink it immediately after making it or you can store it in your refrigerator and drink a nice glass of cold milk.

If you are lactose intolerant, allergic to dairy or other plant based milk, oat milk is a good alternative option. Make your own homemade oat milk to reap all the benefits of this plant based milk.

Why Oat Milk?

  • Not only is oat milk a very healthy milk for your body, but it is also more sustainable than dairy milk. It is less dependent on farming practices. It is cruelty free, and leaves lower carbon footprint on our environment.
  • Making oat milk at home is very easy. In just a few minutes you will have a good healthy milk in your refrigerator for the entire family to enjoy.

Dates, which are another ingredient in this oat milk recipe, are a healthy, non-processed alternative sweetener. If you want to find out all the benefits of dates, I have it listed in my recipe Pina Colada. There, you will find an entire section about all the benefits of dates.
