Cashew Milk Benefits

Cashew milk is good for your bones and skin, and it supports your immune system. You will love the creaminess and sweet taste of this cashew milk recipe. Just drinking this milk all alone with no extra add on will just do! This raw vegan milk is one of those drinks you just get hooked on and keep making the recipe over and over again.

Benefits of Cashews

  • Iron, one of the nutrients found in cashews, makes this milk and excellent drink for those who are looking to boost their production of red blood cells. Cashew milk avoids anemia and prevents iron deficiency.
  • The antioxidants found in cashews, such as zeaxanthin and lutein, help with keeping eye health in check and prevent chronic diseases.
  • Cashew contain magnesium and phosphorous which are good for bone health.

Consuming raw organic homemade cashew milk, just like any other raw plant based milk, allows you to provide your body with one hundred percent of all the vitamins and minerals cashews contain. This is because the cashews have not been processed nor heated.

Always try to buy organic when possible and get to know the source of where your food and ingredients come from. Cashews are best if you purchase them at your local farmers market or health store but some grocery stores do have organic non-processed and non-heated cashews available.
